What’s the purpose of the Pre-Marriage course?
Strong marriages don’t just develop automatically. Our hope is that on this course you’ll discover:
the attitudes, values and habits that are needed to build a healthy and strong marriage that will last a lifetime.
tools that you can use to invest in your marriage for the rest of your lives.
things you didn’t previously know about your partner.
new friends who are about to set off on the adventure of marriage too.
Who is the course for?
The Pre-Marriage Course is for couples who are exploring the idea of getting married and for those who are already engaged. It’s designed for those who want to give their marriage the best possible start, whether they’re exploring marriage for the first time or have been married before.
The course is based on Christian principles but designed for all couples with or without a church background. You do not need to be getting married in a church to come on the course.
Will I have to talk about my relationship in front of others?
No! For the first 15 minutes of each session, everyone will be together for introductions and a catch-up. This will be relaxed and informal, and there will be no pressure to say anything deep or personal.
From 8-10pm the only person you will be talking to is your partner as you watch the course videos, and work through the discussion questions in your journal - all from the comfort and privacy of your own home.
When is the next course running?
The next course is running on Monday evenings in March 2021, from 7.45pm - 10pm via Zoom.
How much does the course cost?
Nothing - it’s free!
All we ask, is that you commit to attending all five sessions, and to investing in your relationship.
